A magical retreat in Carson, WA
The yurts here are next-level. We're talking heated floors, a full kitchen, and a private deck where you can sip your coffee while soaking up the serene forest vibes. It's like camping but without sacrificing any comfort.
And then there's the land itself—400 acres of pure magic. Right in the heart of the property stands the Grandmother Tree, a 500-year-old giant that feels like she's seen it all.
The surrounding area is packed with adventures just waiting for you. Love a good hike? You'll find everything from the stunning views of Dog Mountain Trail to the cascading beauty of Panter Creek Falls. If you want somethin easy yet rewarding, Fall Creek Falls Trail or Wind Mountain Trail will steal your heart.

For my dog parents: this place is totally dog-friendly. Watching my pup run through the trails and sniff every tree like it was his job made my heart so happy.

The best part? Columbia Gorge Getaways is easy to get to. It's just about an hour's drive from Portland and under 3.5 hours from Seattle.

Columbia Gorge Getaways is a 400 acre glamping property located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge in Carson, Washington.
The property includes numerous hiking & biking trails along with direct access to Gifford Pinchot National Forest & some of the best waterfalls in the PNW.

Their creekside luxury yurts sleep 4 and are equipped with a full kitchen, spacious living area, bathroom, wraparound deck & even have heated floors throughout.

Their bell tents come in single or double options depending on your group size & feature a bed, sitting area, coffee station & picnic table for cooking your meals on your personal camp stove.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Wy’East yurt. From the excellent communication prior to and during our stay helping us make our plans, to all the comforts and amenities in the yurt this was a perfect vacation! The location is also perfect no matter what you plan to do!

Secluded Getaway
This mountain getaway was absolutely incredible. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and nestled up in the trees for a peaceful, private stay. It had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We especially loved the beautiful fire pit outside with comfortable chairs—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Plus, there’s a ton of excellent local food just five minutes away. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return!
