We strongly encourage you to explore the expansive and authentic backcountry at Columbia Gorge Getaways! 

We just ask that you observe these few simple rules:

• All guests are required to follow basic Leave No Trace Protocol  at all times.

• Be respectful when you are near other guest's tents, cars, or property. CGG is a shared space and we ask that you self govern to preserve everyone's comfort and privacy.

• Please DO NOT generate litter of any kind while hiking. Orange peels, banana peels, nut shells and other organic matter is considered litter.    

• No motorized vehicles are allowed past the turnoff entrance to the Scenic Ridge. Please do not park in front of the wine barrel roadblock. 

• Wildlife encounters can and do happen in this true wilderness environment. Do not tempt, taunt or disrupt wildlife in anyway. It is your responsibility to be educated on how to appropriately interaction with wildlife to ensure the safety of both you and the native wildlife.

• All trails are mixed use trails. Please be courteous and respectful whenever passing other guests on either foot or bike.

• Any removal or destruction of native flora or fauna (i.e. firewood) is strictly prohibited.
